Went to the local pub after work today with 2 mates (Cameron and Nick Tucker) from my house both young, fashion concious males aged 23 and 24. Came home and got changed so that I could put the shoes on especially.

I thought the shoes were appropriate for the pub - casual, typical man about the town.

They both noticed that the shoes were new and commented that they thought they were pretty cool and both gave the general opinion that they liked them and they both seemed interested by the shoes. I would say they seemed more interested than if I was just wearing Adidias or Nike which are more typical.

Had friends from home come up and visit this weekend. Had the shoes in my room on show. They are very bright and so looked pretty obvious in my room. No comments were made about them.

Went to 'The Egg' nightclub. Very fashionable event due to London Fashion Week occuring - Clowns on dance floor all dancing in slow motion - v. weird. Lots of stylish, fashion types around. Looked out for New Balance but didn't see any being worn - may be that the dress code was too formal though.

Arrival of the Shoes



I recieved the shoes in the post today. They were my second choice - the U420BBY style. I like the shoes - they are cool, retro, unique, not commonplace. They are very bright and I like the colour.

According to the proposal I will be wearing them 2-3 times this week at least and I won't be mentioning the shoes to other people. I will simply record any feedback I recieve during the week.
